MICHAEL L. SLOANE II

Mr. Sloane currently serves as Managing Director for Bluefire Capital, a family holding company focused on investments in emerging restaurant brands. Previously, Mr. Sloane was the President and CEO of The Lark Group, a family holding company focused on real estate and restaurant development. The Lark Group developed multiple retail shopping centers as well as developed and operated over 75 restaurants of national brands. Mr. Sloane currently serves as Chairman of Viva NA, a global initiative for children at risk based in Oxford, England. He is also the Vice Chairman of the Hindman Settlement School, a 115 year old institution providing educational and service opportunities in Appalachia. Mr. Sloane graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Transylvania University, Lexington, Kentucky, and received his MBA from Said Business School at the University of Oxford, Oxford, England.
